Positive Coaching Alliance & GameChanger Announce Partnership to Bring Essential Resources to Parents, Coaches, and Youth Sports Organizations

Positive Coaching Alliance and GameChanger are thrilled to announce a partnership to further their shared vision of positively transforming youth sports. Through this collaboration, GameChanger’s platform will amplify PCA’s mission to reach a broader audience, bringing essential resources and support to coaches, parents, and youth sports organizations across the country.

Key features of the partnership include collaborating on developing and distributing a survey to source insights from youth sports parents and caregivers. The learnings will inform future coaching resources and help in the creation of tailored content featuring tips and tools for GameChanger users.

“At GameChanger, we believe youth sports change lives on and off the field,” said Rebecca Wasserman, GameChanger VP of Strategy, Operations, and Impact. “We know coaches are often the most influential voices in a young athlete’s journey. By teaming up with PCA, our goal is to provide them, as well as the parents and organizations we serve, with the tools, resources, and support they need to shape confident, resilient young athletes who carry those lessons for life."

“This partnership with GameChanger aligns perfectly with PCA’s commitment to making youth sports more positive, equitable and accessible, for all children. We are excited to learn from GameChanger’s loyal audience, and get tools in the hands of coaches and parents to help young athletes become the best versions of themselves, both on and off the field,” said PCA’s CEO, Jason Sacks.

As part of the Aspen Institute’s Project Play 63×30 initiative—which aims to ensure that 63% of youth are playing sports by 2030—PCA is also partnering with ESPN and Disney’s Take Back Sports campaign. In support of this movement, GameChanger will encourage its community to explore free resources available at www.takebacksports.org. To further empower parents and caregivers, all GameChanger users will also receive free access to PCA’s online parent course through the end of August, offering practical tools to support their children’s experience in youth sports.
